Behind Sabe & Co. is Sabey Junaid, an Australian-based fashion designer and creative entrepreneur whose passion for design began at an early age.His formal journey into fashion began in Sri Lanka, where he studied fashion design and developed a strong foundation in garment construction, design development and couture craftsmanship. He later continued his education in Australia, becoming an      Australian-qualified fashion designer through Torrens University Australia in Sydney, further refining his knowledge of contemporary fashion, design practice and the Australian fashion industry.

His journey in fashion reached a defining milestone in 2012, when he was honoured as the Overall Winner of the Sunday Observer  Designer of the Year in Sri Lanka. This prestigious recognition marked an important chapter in his career, affirming his creative vision and establishing the foundation for a lifelong pursuit of individuality, refined craftsmanship and timeless design.

Today, Sabey brings together fashion, creativity and business, balancing his design practice with a professional career in Sydney. His experience across creative and professional environments has shaped an approach that is both artistic and considered.
